Oklahoma NSA will be holding 3 Classifier Tournaments in 2012. ( Please check the schedule) These tournaments are open to all Men's Teams.  Oklahoma NSA will require at these events the following:                      A Pre-Classification Roster form ( click on the link above -Print & fill out COMPLETELY). If your team starts playing tournaments after the Classifiers, you may present this Pre-Classification Roster to the State office to be reviewed by our 15 panel Classification Board. Teams playing in Classifiers will be evaluted, and Pre-Rosters reviewed by the Classification Board to determine where your team belongs in the NSA.   The Board will follow NSA National guidelines, review player history, and vote on where the team belongs - Men's Class A, B, C, D, or E.  All Pre-rosters that are submitted each month will be reviewed between 1st to the 8th of the month. Team Classifications will be posted by the 10th of each month. With the last posting on July 10th. (before State) Note: If your team forms a week before a World Qualifier or Super NIT. Your roster will be reviewed by the State director and then determine which NIT you may play in. Classifications can change thru out the year due to player additions or releases !!!!!!!!  Classifications are determined by : A) ROSTER HISTORY (State History & National Post season play history) B) Performance of Team - Defense & Offense C) Age of Team D) Team Attitude & Management Process History NSA Softball is determined to put teams in a competitive class to level the playing field. Note: Just because a TEAM thinks it is an E Team,  has NEVER played NSA, or has players that have dropped out of NSA for a number of years, DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN AUTOMATIC CLASSIFICATION TO THE CLASS YOU WISH TO PLAY. To get better , you MUST play better teams.  To be the Best, You MUST Play the BEST !!                    Please Review the National NSA Rule Book for guidelines on Rosters, and Player History. This will help you complete your roster and give you some idea with your players, where your team belongs in the NSA. The NSA is determined to Stop sandbagging Softball. This is NOT a 2 classification Association. Class A allows 8+1 Homeruns and is the very Best and highest level. Class B allows 4+1 Homeruns and is the the very Best in Oklahoma at this point. Class C allows 2+1 Homenruns and should be our 2nd largest Class in Oklahoma. Class D allows 1 Homerun and Should be our largest Class just above Class C Class E allows NO HOMERUNS with the progressive rule, (giving runs to other team when balls are hit over the fence) Class E will be our smallest class in 2012.  If your team can hit homeruns, has a sponsor and all players having expensive matching uniforms, then it's unlikely you will be playing class E.
